.DIGITÓPIA
The world is constantly surrounded by technology. Music is a “good“ available for everyone and everyone can get access to it either with computers, mobile phones, etc.
Digitópia is a project curated by my friend Rui Penha, developed at Casa da Música in collaboration with ESMAE, Universidade Católica, INESC Porto and Porto Digital.
Digitópia is a place where you can create music, freely, by means of a computer.
There are twelve computers with different controllers in the main lobby at Casa da Música,
where anyone can go, at any time, compose electronic music pieces.

.FACTOR E
Factor E it’s a resident group of eleven trans-disciplinar educators in the Educational Services Department at Casa da Música. Factor E develops a wide range of educational projects at Casa da Música, thought to inspire other educational agents therefore open to anyone. Our work goes much further than simply using music in the traditional way. Factor E develops intense and diverse work making use of technologies such as computers, sensors and video.
.HORNFLAKES
My oldest collaboration is with PJ(João Pedro) and Radjid(Miguel Guedes).
We formed the Hornflakes while playing at Big Fat Mamma.
I play trumpet, Pj plays Alto Saxophone + flute and Radjid plays Baritone Saxophone.
We have been playing for over ten years, mainly funk based stuff.
It is one of the most fruitful and enjoyable collaborations I have.
.INERTE
This on-going collaboration born out of the curiosity we had on combining architecture&music.
Inerte is Pedro Goncalves and Pedro Mosca, both architects.
The trend of installations, performance and design, among others, were reasons for several long night talks.
Mainly our work looks at possible connections between our main working areas,
filling at the same time a personal empty space in our artistic life.
.SUJEITO
This is the funk band where i play guitar.
Sujeito is a band formed by me, Nuno Senra (bass) and Alex (drums).
We’ve been playing for over 8 years but we only performed once!
It will came the time when Sujeito will be a solid and active band.
.JERÓNIMO ROCHA
Ergoritmo was the first collaboration between me and Jerónimo.
It was an abstract video based on motion, in black and white.
It was premiered at Castelo Branco in 2007 and got a second screening in Porto.
Breu is the second work i did with Jerónimo Rocha and is a short-film to which I composed the music.
It is a film that explores the fear in a story telling way.

.MARIANA TENGNER BARROS
Mariana is a dancer interested in contemporary art.
My collaboration with Mariana has only been in one piece so far.
The piece was called “Peça do Coração” and got it’s premiere on November in Lisbon at Eira33.
We have plans to do more collaborations in the future.
.DENTAL SPACE
Dental Space is a project developed by dentist António Pedro.
It gathers people from dance, writing and design.
This project aims at kids and has the purpose of calling kids attention to the importance
of brushing the teeth and oral hygiene.
For this project i composed the music for the choreography.
